There\'s no way this is not affecting food production. In a real free market there\'s no way corn-based ethanol would be employed for this long because it\'s a dumb, dumb idea. At least based on what I read here and on sister site EcoGeek, it sounds like the really big advances are currently being made in cellulosic and other non-food-sourced ethanol production.
