Another day, another presidential candidate visiting with the good people of Missoula, Montana. While it doesn't look like John McCain will be in town tomorrow to complete the trifecta, Hillary Clinton spent Sunday morning in the Garden City -- first at a breakfast for big fundraisers, then at a public town hall-style meeting held at a hangar near Missoula Airport. The Clinton rally brought to a close a frenzied 30 hours of political activity in Montana, at least for the Democrats. Following yesterday's rock star-esque appearance by Barack Obama at the University of Montana, Clinton and Obama crossed paths last night at the state's annual Democratic dinner in the city of Butte. For the second day in a row we got up earlier than we usually do on weekdays and made it to the Clinton speech with plenty of time to spare. It proved to be a smaller, more intimate event than the packed-arena craziness we witnessed yesterday with Obama. As promised, we took our camera and have for you a photo diary of this morning's rally after the jump. But first we must start with one of our favorite nuggets from today, which is nothing more than the location of the hangar:
Yes, the Clinton event took place at 1 Corporate Way. We're guessing this made a few staffers cringe when they posted the address on Hillary's web site two days ago. Of all the possible road names in the world, we can only think of a few that would have topped this. Lewinsky Drive? Whitewater Blvd? |

Yeah, OK, we can be the change that we want to see in the world. But unless powerful people in powerful positions want to be that change as well, nothing's going to change.
So now, finally, there's a place where you can go for news and analysis of politics from an environmental perspective.
