It's strange to think that bloggers are any kind of meaningful demographic for politicians (as much as we here at EnviroWonk take our work very, very seriously). But apparently Al Gore thinks they are. So does Nancy Pelosi. And Gore’s even counting on the blogosphere to help him spread the word about his new energy plan the United States.

Last week, as the New York Times reported, Gore and Pelosi shared the stage at Netroots Nation, an annual conference for left-leaning bloggers.

The Times reported that Gore told the Netroots audience he would not seek a position in the next administration, but rather continue his climate campaigns (and hopefully random appearances on Saturday Night Live)
