Full of material satisfaction, I hit the streets of Denver with my fellow San Diego delegates just as the first demonstration (at least the first I saw) passed by. According to the banners we saw, the group, made up primarily of twenty-somethings, was protesting the existing order—capitalism, the military-industrial-complex and, yes, the Democratic Party. As demonstrations go, it was barely insistent. Nonetheless, when we found ourselves between a phalanx of riot-geared police on foot and horseback and the approaching demonstrators, we quickly took refuge in a pizza parlor. (Sadly, arrests were made on Sunday, and another demonstration from the same group on Monday resulted in arrests and tear-gassing.)

Sad, because of arrests? why. no one was killed, your not one of those that believes no one should be punished for anything they do wrong are you? I'm sad that we have to have riot police in place for these events because of misguided moronic piss ant socialists. IT might be a free country, free to be an idiot, but don't expect there isn't a price to pay for causing problems.

Peaceful protesting isn't wrong, but rioting is, and there's always a few idiots who spoil it for everyone else.

I Never said it was wrong to protest. I protest high gas prices every day I ride my bike to work. Now deliberately causing problems that would require riot police, that's wrong, moronic, idiotic, foolish. Yes it is sad we have to put up with these idiots that put the rest of people in harms way. Leveling up was pretty easy, so I stopped at level 16 and took dofus gold on the farmer job.
